Can the Internet Save Democracy? – A Brunch Discussion

Event Description - Can the Internet Save Democracy? – A Brunch Discussion

A paradox of the Internet Age is the decline in voter participation among a citizenry with easy access to information. TurboVote, a NYC-based non-profit, strives to meet this challenge head-on by using technology to lower barriers to the ballot. Join us on Sunday, May 12th for an intimate conversation over brunch with TurboVote research director (and MIT alum) Paul Kominers and COO Katy Peters as they discuss how they are harnessing the efficiency of the Internet to make voting as easy as renting a DVD from Netflix.

Pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Cost: Pay your own way. A $15 deposit at registration will be applied to the registrant’s final bill.
