Parted Waters is a contemporary family drama about a grandfather struggling to tell his grandson about their family's hidden Judaism, dating back to Inquisitional times. Based on scholarly research, this play dramatizes the little-known plight of New Mexico Hispanics grappling with their religious identity. The play's larger theme is about how we form and maintain our personal identity in capricious culture that vacillates between nurturing and intolerance. Parted Waters is suitable for families, including teens and older. Post-show talkback discussion with the playwright. This event is a preview performance for the full production of this play during Spiral Theatre's 2014-15 season.

Cost: Pre-public sale to MIT Club of NY members for a limited time, $10 per person.
